It is a manifestation of our brains?

Or our minds/psyche?

Or is it something of our inner conscious experience?

    Passion is desire.

Desire is (arguably) guided by value (handbook of ethical theory by copp)

so passion in a sense is guided by value.

Passion is the product of the senses' perceptions and the psyche

    Source(s): sex
  • I think that if you take a Mr King Frog and stick electrodes all over his body and wait for him to get passionate about something, you'll see a surge of certain chemicals in his brain, like a mini-tsunami washing through his head. Therefore, I put it to you that passion is a very physical thing even if you're only talking about inside your head because obviously outside of your head it can be very physical and involve nitroexuberance and also lots of humping if everyone is in the mood.

People are tuned to want. They're very wanttety. The 'something' isn't important.

In the Vedic culture of India passion is consider one of the three modes of material nature (goodness and ignorance being the other two). All material nature is born out of the ego's identification with physical form and worldly desires and ambitions. Beyond the material nature is Nirvana/Enlightenment/Spiritual Awakening.

Deep commitment to a cause or idea, One would hope, a critically examined one, else it is delusion not passion.

Passion comes when interest is there upon one subject

    without intention, no interest too.

So intention and interest are reasons for passion.

sometimes, jelousy helps this. When we see someone is

doing better without we realize we want it too.

Obsession when we fixate on something and find something captivating about it to the point where we try to learn more about it and expand on it, it becomes our passion
