What is wrong with drug testing people getting gov assistance?

I think it should be mandated, I don't want my tax money going towards drugs & alcohol. Don't care what your situation is.

What about smokes, booze & lotto? That costs them at least as much as drugs do. Those things aren't illegal though. Where do you draw the line? I understand your concerns, but drug testing ain't cheap especially multiple times, as the govt already does to parolees. The vast majority will be busted for pot, the only drug that stays in your system for months at a time. Crack & heroin abusers will skate & continue raping the shitstem. Is that the best plan you can think of really?

at first i theory you got a foul result on the drug attempt, by using a defective attempt. yet i am going to verify that you want your unlawful drugs. even as there's a 'proper to privateness' difficulty. with somewhat of success, you'll eventually be grateful on your spouse and children understanding, and they in turn assist you in coming off the drug(s). also, Why are you whining about confidentiality regulations, once you're the only taking unlawful drugs.

Take money from my pay so you can give it to someone who obviously doesn't intend to ever try to work to pay me back .. only to find they spent the money on drugs and it all went up in smoke .

Nothing, if we can also drug test all tlhe people who receive corporate welfare.

they are already given that choice. no druggies in the program.
