It's not a true statement, please stop using it. I'm an atheist, and I've been in foxholes.

Atheists are out doing what they are paid to do - fight!

George W Bush started FIVE wars in less than eight years stating each time that it was his "God Given Duty” and in 2001 even called it a Crusade!

The quote means that atheists tend to start to believe in God when faced with a real danger.

No, that's because fox are the size of a large cat. How is a person supposed to fit in a hole a fox dug and expect it to provide any sort of cover? That's just stupid.

That and religious people are more likely force the atheist to be the lid, so to speak.

No...it's because when you think you are about to die you get so scared that you'll pray to a God you don't believe in in the hopes that he will spare your life. It's a last ditch effort to try whatever it takes to survive.
