Why do people always say Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL?

I don't get it. He beat a Minnesota Vikings team in the playoffs whose starting QB was injured. The Vikings had to put in their back up QB, Webb, who really didn't do anything the whole game. Don't give me Rodgers 'stats' that game. The Vikings have an average defense and the Packers have one of the best recieving cores in the NFL. Any team in the playoffs would of walked over the Vikings so he was basically given a free win. Then he gets wooped by the 49ers in the divisional round (lost to the 49ers in the regular season too, choked on the final possesion because he couldn't do anything to the 49ers defense). Give me Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees over Rodgers any day of the week. They are better quarter backs.

Update:

@Boise Brett Brady and Brees are better than Rodgers. They have been in the league longer, have more accomplishments, better stats, ect. Brady actually almost lead the Patriots to a win when New England was down by a huge margin. Rodgers couldn't do that. Lol don't tell me about the bad defense the Packers have. The Saints had the worst defense in NFL history. They gave up the most yards in NFL history (over 7,000 yards) and Brees still almost finished 7-9 (1 game from .500). Again Rodgers couldn't do that. He just took over Favre's Packers which were already a good team to begin with. Rodgers will never win another championship, he is a one year playoff wonder.

Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees >>>>>> Aaron Rodgers.

You're basing this off of one game? And, the Packers scored a lot of points in that game, their defense just couldn't stop Kapernick. And, of course the guys who have been in the league longer, are going to have more accomplishments. That's just common seense. How is a one year wonder? Ever since he took over Brett Favre's job, he's been amazing every year. In my opinion, Aaron Rodgers IS the best QB in the NFL. At the very worst, he's the 4th best. The only ones you can really make an argument for are Brady, Manning, and Brees.

I do believe Rodgers is a very good QB, but Matt Flynn passed for more than 500 yards with that offense (which, incidentally, is more yards than Rodgers ever put up, although I don't think Flynn is nearly that good). It's safe to say the team made Rodgers as much as the other way around. Brady, Peyton Manning, and Brees are all better, and I would put Eli Manning up there with Rodgers.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take Rodgers for my team any day, but I don't know why people already act as if he's an all-time great QB. I guess when you win a Super Bowl and a Super Bowl MVP you're automatically a great QB...unless of course you're Eli Manning, but that's another discussion.

All that said, even I don't agree he's as bad as you act.

If we're talking at this moment who is the best, then Aaron Rodgers certainly should be in the discussion. Football is a team sport. It's not just Rodgers fault if they lose. The team lost against San Fran. Rodgers did all he could. Teams win games, not a single player. But Don't forget in 2011 the Packers defense was historically bad as well. The Packers went 14-1 with Rodgers at quarterback. You can't honestly tell me that 84 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 2 seasons isn't impressive. Do you actually watch him play?

Sooooo you're basing this off of the Packers losing to the 49ers, despite Rodgers leading the Pack to 31 points on the road over one of the top 2 defenses in the league last season? That alone would win you most games, the Pack lost that game because they couldn't do jack sh!t on defense.

BTW, Brees and Brady both lost to the Niners too, I guess they're in the same area as Aaron Rodgers

Discover now the best sport betting system: http://sport-betting-tips.checkhere.info/

Too many people think of sports betting as just something they do in their past time. However, many people can see the potential that exists if you manage to have the right sports betting strategy and correct approach to betting in general. Are you sick of losing? Interested in finding out how to turn your luck around? Do you want to know which sports betting strategies stand to help you make the most from your betting?

Any good strategy should allow you to place bets based on a systematic method. Of course there is always a random element or so called luck involved, but betting is all about stacking the odds in your favor. There should be no guess work involved or bets placed based on gut feelings. Betting is a business and it should be treated like one. Any money you use for betting needs to be separate from money you use for your daily life or anything else. How can you possibly expect to follow a strategy with money that was originally set aside to pay next week's rent with? You can't. This will help you to focus on the task of betting and remove any emotional strings attached to the money.

So what makes a good strategy or what should you look for in a strategy before you decide to implement it? Any good strategy needs to have a positive expectancy. This means that in the long run you will win. The hit rate of the strategy needs to be above 50% for you to be able to profit in the long run. An ideal win rate should be between 60 to 70%, because you will need to cover the fees and other expensive associated with betting. Is it feasible to expect you'll be able to find a system that has a 100% win rate? No, it isn't. The best you can do is find a system that has a positive expectancy and stick with it. In the long run you will make more money than you can possibly lose.

Keep whatever information and news you have about the teams as up to date as possible. Any changes in the teams makeup or factors that affect how the players play will great affect the potential outcome of a match. Make sure that you are constantly up to date on every aspect that affects the potential outcome of a match. Information is the key to winning at sports betting.

Well you contradicted yourself by saying Rodgers wasn't clutch but you mention Peyton Manning who has a history of chocking in the playoffs, Manning is 8-11 in the playoffs.

The packers got stomped by the niners because the niners are a balanced team, packers are not.

The Patriots got whacked against the Niners in New England too Lol

Aaron Rodgers is the best because he has agility, vision, mobility and incredible poise. There's more to it than just throwing the ball.

Considering the offensive line that Aaron Rodgers has to work with, I think it's pretty impressive what he's done. Put Brady behind Green Bay's offensive line and see what happens.

Well you are obviously drunk. When you score 31 points, you should win, but the defense screwed the pooch on that one. Plus, the 49ers had the ball for 16 more minutes. Imagine if the Packers had the ball for even half the game. I suspect they would have won...

I'm guessing his Super Bowl MVP and win doesn't account for much either then...

As long as the Packers have Rodgers, then the Packers have a chance of winning it all.
