problem finding shells for rifle?
Been to walmart and academy sports but can't find 308 shells that I normally use. I also looked online and everyone said out of stock. Even hornady (which are expensive) had a special statement regarding this caliber

Because of the demand for ammo, ammunition companies, all over the world, are having a hard time keeping up with demand. I just bought a .45-70 and can't find ammo anywhere but online. Reloading is starting to look better.
The best thing to do is find out when your local Walmart gets their ammo delivery. Try and get there that morning. Unfortunately, .308 is one of the more popular rounds.

Cabela's had them in stock when I was there yesterday.
We just got a new store in town though. It's only been open a week so that may be why it's so fully stocked.
