Is this normal for an Industrial?

Its 2 weeks and 2 days old. Last week it was red, swollen and painful to even look at. Now, my ear is pretty much normal color and when cleaning, the bar easily slides around, which it didnt do before because of the swelling. Is this okay at this stage?

That's fine but you don't want to be sliding the bar. If it moves a bit on its own that is fine but sliding it up and down yourself is bad for the piercing. Make sure you're keeping it clean by doing sea salt soaks twice a day for 5-10 minutes each soak with 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water.

The other answer seems to think that no pain means the piercing is healed which is simply incorrect. Your piercing is going to take 9-12 months to heal completely. Make sure you're keeping it clean by doing sea salt soaks twice a day for 5-10 minutes each soak.

Yes my dear! It's healing everyday, and you're lucky that it's that healed at two weeks, mine took about a month. I also had my conch done, and that took forever to heal too. When mine healed like your's is now, I stopped cleaning it daily. Now every once in awhile I'll stop to clean it.

    Hope I helped!
