It increases wheel articulation. There are many companies out there that sell aftermarket sway bar links that pin together for faster removal when hitting the trail. When the sway bar is disconnected, the axle can twist side to side with a lot less resistance from the opposite side.

Benefits to having it related while on the street: you do not flip your Jeep and die. Advantages to having it disconnected off street: It offers you extra articulation which helps you get over obstacles less complicated. You really should on no account power your Jeep on the road without the sway bar linked. If you happen to have to swerve immediately to avert something you are going to free manipulate of your auto.

Just make sure to hook them back up when you get on the main road for proper control.

It does make a very big difference. Not safe on the highway when diss connected.

By disconnecting your sway bar it allows more suspension and suspension angle travel.
