Should someone be able to drop an anser on their own question with 1 report?

Instead of needing multiple reports to get it removed?

Of course not. Because users will take advantage and use it to report any answer they simply don't like.

Nope. Not unless you can do that on others' questions, too.

I'd argue the opposite ... that a user's reporting influence should be LESS on his/her own question. Or that a user should be unable to report answers to his/her questions at all?

All in the name of fairness, of course. ;-)

No. I think it should be impossible to report an answer to your question. A lot of people don't want to hear the truth and get mad. I've seen that a lot of times.
