I too....was wondering the same thing... at this very moment. I hate when Yahoo changes things without notification. It's annoying... Since they don't even bother with arbitration and allow everyone to report everyone for nothing... I don't see why they'd care about the redesign anyway.
Apparently you can only edit your answer before you submit it... Stupid, I know.

You can edit your answers in the new version, it's just that the function is now a pen rather then a simple "edit"
To edit an answer then at the top of your answer you have a pen icon with dots next to the delete button. This is the new "edit" button
