Before you have your first child everyone pipes in about what you should/shouldn't do,chat books to get etc it makes you even more nervous and a lot of the time the books don't help.

Same with anything, you find what works best for yourself, partner and child and go with it...we all make mistakes just gotta learn from them.

Too many books on a. Lot of subject concerning children

Yep, lots of people say that. Maybe they mean that no one has gotten it right. There is no way that one book is the absolute guide to parenting. Everyone is different and therefore, there isn't an instruction manual that is going to get it right.

Of course there are thousands of books on parenting.

The only problem is that while WE may read them, our KIDS never do, so they tend to react differently than the book says they will.

I've never heard that. I have heard that children don't come with a manual, and that is true. You have to go do your own research and discover what works best with your child. Not every method works with every child in every situation.
