2001 Toyota unintentional acceleration at stop signs while foot is on the brake?

I recently had three instances of motor acceleration while at a stop sign or red light. Dealer finds no problem with car computer. Does anyone have any ideas???

It is rare among Toyotas because Toyota favors dual element throttle position sensors, but it can happen. Replacing the TPS is the obvious first step. My partner at work had a Ford Explorer that went full throttle three times. He had the TPS replaced and it never gave a bit of trouble. The computer won't register anything unusual on a single element TPS because for all it knows you mashed the pedal to the floor.
