History. I hated it in school because of the way it was taught...names, dates...who cared? Then I saw a few historical documentaries on PBS, and started reading well-researched historical novels. From then on, I was hooked. History affects the present in many ways.

I used to think being a doctor was a horrible thought, a waste of time, and a dull practice. I can't remember specifically why (probably cuz I was young and only knew of pediatricians haha); I just remember detesting them....
Now it's everything and anything I ever could want in life and I think I've actually found my purpose/calling in life.
Who would've thought? Ha. Just goes to show you need to give everything a chance.

Economics. I always though that must be the most boring subject in the world but it's actually quite fascinating, especially the way that understanding it shows just how dodgy the government, banks and stock exchange traders are, and how many of then really ought to be in jail.

Yes..Science. I didn't like Science in school but now as an adult I like to read about it and watch TV shows concerning science.
