Even if Jesus had two natures, how come neither of them knew "the day and hour"?

As Matt. 24:36 says: "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."

Update:

Kylie, where does the Bible say that "Jesus set aside omniscience before He came to earth, [and that he] only took it back post ascension"? Answer: NOWHERE!

Gismol, as usual, you speak nonsense.

I mean no disrespect but what kind of nonsense is this:

    QUOTE

    Mark 13:32:

"Not that the Son of God is absolutely ignorant of the day of judgment, but that He knoweth it not, as our teacher; that is he knoweth it not so as to teach it to us, as not being expedient".

    END OF QUOTE

Since Jesus also mentioned the angels does your logic apply to them as well?

Jesus made a simple plain statement, why do you have to put a different meaning than what he REALLY meant? Can't you see what kind of mental gymnastics trinitarians have to do in order fit your desired understanding of the Scriptures!?

Besides, the FATHER is not the godhead! The Father is ONE PERSON alone and does not refer to all 3 members of the trinity!!!

Father is Love and a hopeless Romantic. Father sent His only Son to hell & back to Save us. So Jesus life is not over, that was one part that He had to do the hard work Father gave Him. So now Jesus has evolved, grown and Father has set before Him & His Bride (The Church/Believers); Surprizes, rewards, mysteries of the future. God gives us a glimpse, but thats all. It's a Surprise for the most part, an unfolding revealing.

The Bible says that while Jesus was on earth he was fully human. It never says he had a dual nature that no Trinitarian can produce one scripture proving it true. They rely on taking certain scriptures completely out of context and inputting their own ideas ahead of what God's word teaches. Since the Bible is very clear on who God is and isn't, those with proper knowledge know that Jesus is not God and therefore would not know the day until he was given it from God, His God(John 20:17, Rev 3:12).

Matt 24:36 does not deny that that the Divine Nature knows the day or hour.

The word "Father" in scripture generally refers to the concept of only ONE God since it is only a appropriate descriptive name of the Reality; namely, ONE GOD.

Again, ONE GOD, known as the Father, knows it.

Here is the official footnote in the Bible concerning:

    Mark 13:32:

"Not that the Son of God is absolutely ignorant of the day of judgment, but that He knoweth it not, as our teacher; that is he knoweth it not so as to teach it to us, as not being expedient".
