Castrol leaving John Force Racing - WTF is up with that?
Pretty sure Castrol has been with John Force longer than STP was with Richard Petty, but all good things come to an end and Castrol appears to be leaving the team. Seems like an odd time to quit after all these years. What is up with that? Who would be a good sponsor to replace them?

If that's the case he's going to be really hurting. Ford is leaving them at the end of next year. With his operation he will have a hard time finding a sponsor that is willing to part with that much money. His girls will probably be out of a job. I looked it up and they said they are going a different way with advertising. Ever since his daughters started driving he seem to loose his competitive edge and worries to much about them.

Nobody buys a product just because they see it on the side of a race car. It's just an ego trip for the product's corporate bigwigs and ad agencies. Pricey with marginal return on investment.
