    Your question is a little vague, but I'll give it a try.

    If you are asking about the video format for 3D (anaglyph, passive polarization, active shutter, etc) then it really depends on how you broadcast it. In a youtube video, if you use side-by-side and have correctly made your upload, the user can select from any number of formats. If you are making them for your own home use, it will depend on how much you wish to invest. Paper anaglyph glasses are as low as $0.50 and can be shown on any TV or monitor, active shutter glasses are about $100 and require a 3D TV.

    If you are asking about the camera, as with any video bitrate=quality, get the best you can afford based on your level of interest. One great way to get started is a couple of Hero2 cameras and their 3D housing. Easy to use software is included (generates the 3D AVI or MOV, still will need an editing program).
