Should I just give up on her?

So theres this girl I met at a dance about 3 weeks ago. She's 16, Im 17) She seemed really into me and I thought she was pretty cool so we exchanged numbers. We hit it off really well. The first three days, we texted all the time. Then, a 3 day celebration in my hometown came about. She came to the celebration but I only got to see her for about two hours of the entire three days. We talked for a while and everything seemed good and dandy. I texted her the next day right away...no response. I thought nothing of it. I texted her later that night and said I just wanted to talk to her. She didn't seem into it at all and only sent back one word responses like "yeah" and "alright." I was very confused right away but didn't ask if anything was wrong. The next day I tried to initiate another conversation. She did the same thing. I just said whatever to myself and gave it a rest. About 2 hours later I got a text that says "Sorry I was being a jerk to you." I said everything was alright and she immediately asked if I liked her. I said yes which might've been a mistake. I asked if she liked me and she asked "why"? I responded because I want to know. She said she doesn't know me very well. I said I want to get to know her more and she said OK. Now, neither of us have talked to each other in three days. I kinda sense she really isn't into me so a part of me just wants to stop trying while the other part wants to go after her. What should I do? Should I try and pursue her, not talk to her for a while to see if she sends me a text or just forget about it altogether?
