Will melted wax harm my turtle's shell?

I'm trying to create an "art" video and one of my ideas was to have candles on my turtle's shell, but i'm not sure I can do that without hurting him.

    i don't think that's a very good idea. Turtles aren't meant for making art videos haha. the wax will also probably be hot since you said "to have candles on my turtles shell" so im guessing they will be lighted and hot. Don't do it :/

    Hot wax cooking the turtle shell and cooking the turtle in that shell.

    How hot? Can you put it on your own skin? If not, it is definitely too hot for the turtle.

    Yes, this could harm your turtle... did you really need someone to tell you that? Don't make him suffer for your "art".

    Yes, it can hurt him. It's hot, and it would get stuck in his shell. Besides, he would be scared out of his MIND.
