If a miscarriage occurs naturally, was it caused by god?
Bonus question (for those who have blamed it on someone less powerful than god): why does he even allow it to happen?

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

No. The causes of miscarriages are well understood, and they are not supernatural. And why wouldn't He allow it to happen? There are natural laws that govern the natural universe. Why would you expect that God will cancel such natural laws any time someone is going to get hurt? Should He cancel gravity when a child falls out a window??

Usually miscarriages are cause by abnormalities in the chromosomes, fetus, immune system, or uterus. Not God. If there is a God, I'm sure she has better things to do than kill fetuses.

Our bodies reject the fetus through stress or illness. Usually through our own doing. Blaming GOD for everything we do when GOD doesn't interfere in our decisions or what happens to us is VERY DUMB!

No it is not. It is always caused by the mother to be doing something like working to hard that causes the problem, Trips and falls and even alcohol and drug use causes them as well.

I had two miscarriages when I was in a christian fundy cult. They told me it was my fault because I wasn't "christian enough". According to them, God thought I wasn't "christian enough" to be trusted with raising children.
I am so glad I am not christian any more.

Whatever happens, happens for a good reason.
Has god have ever done anything without a reason?
Well I’m assuming you’ll say no.
He loves everyone & will do what’s good for them.
