Would this be the biggest "flip flop" of all (Barack Obama)?

President Obama deeply criticized Mitt Romney of being a flip flopper during the last presidential campaign. His pundits took up the call and rabidly championed that complaint of his opponent. Yet, Obama's entire presidency has been filled with instances of him changing his mind. Is the eminent attack on Syria Obama's biggest flip flop of all?

Campaigning is a game of intentional manipulation. On both sides. Obama is now in office and he sees that things are a lot more complicated that he assumed. He also seems to be a lot less supportive of whisteblowers than he was a few years go.

He is a disappointment in many ways, but this is nothing new. At this point he's probably wishing he lost the election.

Could be. But now Obama has painted himself in a corner, he is the one who said to Syrian dictator

that using chemical weapons against his people is the red line. So, in order to save his gutless self

he will attack Syria, he must wait until congress has approved or not. And what proff has the U.N. found? No man should be elected as President unless he or she has had at least two years of military training. Without any form of military training I don't understand how to separate assad's military from al-qaeda and the syrian people from one another? The best and only thing for sure is to destroy the military aircraft along with assad and his full military men. Fast and furious, not a small bit here and there, firing from our aircraft in the sea. How isa this going to effect the economics of this Country?

This could mean serious situation for Israel by Russia, Iran and China. But I can assure you Israel is ready with their fingers on their trigger..

I do know that when Afganistani people learned the U.S. Military was on their way the innocent ones

went into a panic. This raises another question how many more innocent people will be kiled? Assad is not going to stop so someone must, as usual it is always the U.S. Military.

In 2007 he told The Globe “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat,”

He has done the exact opposite of that. Several times.

He has flopped on so many issues I am starting to think he isn't human. here is a video of him debating himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BmdovYztH8

    Source(s): I pay attention.

What about Biden? 10 years ago he was telling Chris Matthews that after consulting with his constitutional experts he was ready to move to impeach the sitting president if he took this country to war against a country that: 1) did not attack us and 2) there was no evidence that they were about to attack us.

What constitutional amendments have there been since then such that Biden isn't saying the same thing now?

i feel obama needs to tell the american public the truth . that there is a country , near syria , that has a history of extreme hatred of muslim , that snuck in , killed 1,300 people with gas , then made it look like assad did it . just to pull in the US and UK to get us to finance and fight their war against muslims for them . we need to get it straight this time who the real enemy is .
