What is the tool you use to save websites, articles, or links in general?

I used to use google docs, but I want an organizational tool that can easily show pictures and links to articles. Do you use anything like that?

I want something to save mostly links to articles for a research paper I am doing. But, I want the images in the article to show as well as a little explanation about the article.

I found a list of organizational tools. I would just really appreciate some advice, feedback, hearing others' personal experience before picking one.

I also don't want to use pinterest.

I would appreciate any insight or feedback. Thanks in advance

I think Pearltrees (www.pearltrees.com) is a good tool for your needs. It allows to collect and organize links as well as upload pictures. I like it because it has very nice visual interface, you will be able to organize your links into a kind of tree, where each branch is an interest or a topic and each leaf (or "pearl") is a link to an article. Each pearl has a title and you will be able to put little explanations about articles into comments.
