Poll. how soon should you pick a best answer for a question?

Sometimes the best answers and questions come from places that are across the world like Ireland. I would like to answer them but its too late when I get up in the morning!!!!

    I usually leave my questions open David for 2 or 4 days before picking a best answer ... i have left Qs for as long as a week . Sometimes i close Qs early but that would be rare .....

    I usually just drift up onto your questions maybe 8 hours after you have asked them ..same as Shahhidas Questions in Detroit .although there have been time shahhida posted fresh while i was on site...

    I think you should leave it for 24 hours. I hate it when I see a good question and it has been resolved in two hours or something.
