Freshwater fish for a 29gal hex....?

I have a 29gal hex that had 3 angelfish and 5 Cory cats. I moved the angels into a 55gal so they would have more room. The hex is heavily planted with a piece of driftwood in the middle that goes the whole way to the water line. What would be some good fish for this kind of tank?

I know there isn't alot of space for swimming since its tall instead of long so I'm not sure what kind of fish to get.

Most of the tetra get to be about 2" or just a bit larger than that. I think I'd stay smaller than

this so you can fit enough to look good/have the number which is recommended

for that type of fish. This may not come out with the fish I put in there on it.

If it don't have them I put 7 black tetra's and 5 hatchet fish. The Cory's are bottom, the

hatchet are top and the Black Neons are mid level fish and it comes to an 85% stocking

level which only requires a 15% water change each week. They should be added in those

groups but one group a week apart from each other to allow the bio-filter to build up the

necessary amount of bacteria for the new bio load.

You should not need to do this as your tank is already cycled. But those bacteria colonize

by food supply so add fish in small groups/w some spacing between adding.

Hex's are hard to fit fish to but I think this will fill it with different fish at each level but not

overcrowd it as the sizes are more compatible to the tank.

This tells you about parameters of fish and plants.

A school of one of the smaller tetra species maybe. I'm not sure what the dimensions are for such a tank but I'm guessing like 16" side to side or there abouts? With lots of plants that does help break up the space a bit so anything that stays in the one inch or so range should do okay.

get a great white shark or blue whale that would be pretty cool.
