My puppies gums are blackish in color?
I am raising a service puppy and we got him at 8 weeks old, two weeks later our dog trainer told us to put him on vitamin C, we give him 250 mg every night. He is now 24 weeks old but i have not seen any improvements, is their anything else i can do?

He probably has normal pigmented gums. Have the vet check but many dogs have pigmented gums.

Dogs have no reason to be supplemented with vitamin C, as they make their own.
I'm not sure why a dog trainer would be advising you to supplement vit C. In any case, this dog needs to see a vet.

It could be skin pigmentation. If your puppy has healthy teeth it is quiet possible that it is just pigmentation of his skin. That just means your puppy is out doors often and the sun has changed the colour of his gums. If you think it's serious take your puppy to the vet

Treat your new puppy as you would a new born baby. We recommend that you try to make the first few days together with you puppy as calm as possible, remember this is a very traumatic time for your puppy. A puppy will play until it drops. It may play so much that it is too tired to eat, especially be aware of the amount of time children play with your puppy.
