If Jesus isn't real why do miracles happen everyday like on those faith healing shows?

Good sir, I am a Christian. But I must warn you that those faith healing shows are todays medicine men. Back in the 19th Century, when medicine was a luxury and there were many scammers, men who had "elixirs" for the deaf, baldness, cripples, stomach aches, etc. were all the rage. Naturally, they sold bottles of water or some foul smelling (non-toxic) materiel that would supposedly, because of an example, cure them of their ailments. Of course, they would have a paid actor who would be among the audience and "chosen" to be a guinea pig for the medicines. As such, this person would act like a cripple, or deaf or have stomach aches, and then pretend like he/she was healed from said elixir.

What I'm trying to say is, most of these televangelists are fake. They are there for money, and money alone. A real healer wouldn't desire money nor have an obligation to make people pay for healing or prosperity. Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers? Prosperity teachers. They aren't following Christ's message of spreading the gospel of salvation, they're spreading the gospel of prosperity. Naturally, I go to a simple church where everyone works together and we learn and teach each other as such. Before you start to provide this evidence, really test it. They won't allow real Christians who will test and destroy their foundation, they'll only allow gullible people in so they can use this "healing"/"prosperity" gospel on people who are at their most desperate.

Because the pastors plant "sick" people in the congregation so they can come forward and pretend to be healed.

Because the poor soul who is really sick wanting to believe more than anything they will be cured has the placebo effect happen and throws down their crutch and walks several steps. The next day they can't walk because they weren't healed they had just wanted to be healed so badly they made it a couple of steps. It has been proven some of these desperate people have injured themselves severely by doing this. The fundamentalist preacher Oral Roberts used to have plants in his audience and got caught for it.

What 'evidence'? That one guy and yell and smack another in the head and all their ills are cured?

I've seen people make others disappear in Vegas too. Is this the sign of god?

I see only that and no real evidence at all... evidence would involve having these people evaluated to start with and checked again afterward...

You do realize those so-called "faith healers" just hire people to pretend to have an ailment, then put on a show of "healing" them for you suckers? It's been proven time and time again.

It's television. It's meant to make money. Here's a better question, if these people are supposedly the servants of god, then why would they charge money for people to get into their events?

I know like really I saw this dinosaur on TV giving the fairy a ride down to the ocean to visit her mermaid friend, and I'm like "see mermaids do exist!" this is what you sound like. And if god is real why had SCIENCE PROVEN IT WRONG YOU DAFT LITTLE THIEST, "god" is just leaving you to die in you ******* religious wars, quick go cause some more.

Its quite amazing! people being beamed places, ghosts, angels, telepathy, flight.

Paid actors...you are just the type of Mark those shows are looking for...LOL
