Could Virgo man like me?

So I am a Capricorn woman and I met this really cool Virgo guy last year. We go to the same university, had a class together and ever since then we became really close friends. During the summer break, he would text me every once in a while checking on me and telling me how much he missed me. Then finally when classes started back up, he made it priority that we meet up and catch up. So we met up, and that same night he came to my on-campus apartment and stayed the night with me. And boy did things get passionate and steamy! We didn’t go all the way but it was intense. Now I find myself thinking about him every day. I’m really crushing on this guy. But there’s a downside to it all….

I just found out he has a girlfriend (who he’s been dating since HIGH SCHOOL!). Mind you this is all of our senior year in college. So my question is, what’s up with Virgo men…are they naturally flirty and don’t mean any harm by it or does this guy like me and he’s just a big *** cheater? Either way, I don’t want him now that I know what type of guy he is. But it confuses me as to why he’d do that to his girlfriend. I know it's obvious that he's a jerk but I love our friendship, I don't want this one little thing to end it. What should I do?
