Best hair products/gel to make a quiff (picture)?
I currently use VO5 Extreme Style Texturising Gum and Schwarzkopf Got2Be Blasting Freeze hairspray to make a quiff but after a few hours my hair starts to flop down a bit.
Which different products would you recommend for making a quiff like: http://www.menshairstyletrends.com/wp-content/uplo...
Do I need to use any other equipment (comb, hairdryer, hairbrush etc.), and would it be better to straighten my hair as it is slightly thick?
Also, are there any products that don't make your hair feel weird when you touch it? The VO5 Texturising Gum makes my hands feel quite sticky if I touch my hair in the middle of the day.
Thanks in advance.

okay well firstly im a girl so i dunno if guy's quiffs work the same..
but i use a teasing brush
and
hairspray
:)
-grab the fringe and brush it up,
-start by teasing little parts at a time, tease it in rows starting from the part of the fringe closest to the back then move forward (if you get what i mean)
-if you have a teasing brush (i attached a picture of the ones i use-see in the source section)
hold one section of fringe up with your other hand get the brush and start from the top and brush down
-let that piece rest on your head now,
-grab the next piece of hair and do the same, brush with the teasing brush from top to bottom, also make sure that your brushing the back of the fringe (like when your holding your fringe up brush the side closest to the back of your head.)
-keep repeating (you may only need to do this 3 times, deppending on the thickness of your fringe)
once you have done this part gently use the teasing brus to brush the hair in place on your head, then coat with hairspray.
-i know this is the way girls and myself probally quiff hair, but for guys i'm not sure if they would do it the same way, i think depending on the length of your hair and the style of quiff you want, but you can experiment with the steps ive written.
you can do it to the side as well, like towards the side of your hair.
there are quite a few youtube videos on how to quiff hair, but make sure you type in how to quiff guys hair.
ther are also a few sites too
heres one you can check out, search on the side pannel under quiffs or you can look under 80's hair styles: http://coolmenshair.com/
you can use products like
hairspray and gel and wax.
if my answer didn't help and the website and youtube videos dont help either then id suggest to google.. or if your wanting to know products in particular go to a haridresser or barber or you could also go to a hair care store (like the store where they sell hair products and that, im sure they'd have some good products that they will show you).
sorry if i did not answer you actual quesstion, but hopefully ive helped, if not sorry.
all the best! :)

That depends on how it looks upon you. For me, as long because it's not past your shoulders then it would be ok but I actually prefer anything that doesn't go previous the ears.
