"No Site Configured at This Address"?

Every so often I start up Firefox and instead of loading Yahoo (my start page) it says 'No site configured at this address'. Yahoo is still there, like if i enter news.yahoo.com or answers.yahoo.com, etc. But Yahoo itself is not available. This goes on for a few days and then Yahoo is back.

This started yesterday. Today I find Craigslist is also 'No site configured at this address'.

What causes this? How can I fix it?

    Sounds as if you have a proxy service or redirect malware in your computer. Try running without proxies, or running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/ , see if it comes up with something.
