Why is 0bama suing Jindal for giving 8,000 poor kids school scholarships?

This is a voucher system and the US Justice Department is saying that some schools, that are under court order already, have to get permission from the Judge in order to allow these kids to transfer to be sure the transfers will not contradict the previous rulings of the court. It doesn't say the kids can't transfer, only that the schools get permission first.

By the way, the State has an obligation to provide free education to all minority children already, it is called the public school system. You imply that Justice is trying to keep them from getting a free education, another lie.

An Economist once said Marx often opposed government actions to pacify workers and improve their lot, on the grounds such improvements might forestall or prevent revolution. He was critical of unions attempting to "work within capitalism" for improvements, rather than just revolt. I believe he called them reactionary.

The bit about "racial segregation" and religious schools is interesting... Only because most of the separation of church and state nonsense interpretation comes from Hugo Black. A New Deal supporting Alabama Klansman, Black hated Catholics and the idea of Catholic schools getting money from the state. So he coughed up this crap. Black is also the one who said FDR knew he was a Klansman when he appointed him. FDR told him not to wiry about it because some of his best buds and strongest supporters in Alabama were Klansmen.

It's to give subsidies to the religious schools and race segregated schools of the south.

99% of all private schools founded before 1990, are designed to segregate people by either religion or race.

The other 1% have tuition far above 8,000 bucks.

They don't want Republicans or conservatives to do anything that possibly benefits a group the Democratic Party considers its own. There's nothing Democrats detest more than a black, female or Hispanic conservative.

Jindal's programs would result in more people who don't need government assistance to get by. Lawdy, can't have that, can we?
