It's going to vary, my goal is to tone and lose about 15 pounds. I spend 40 minutes on the treadmill at a fast walk then I go to the elliptical for about 20 minutes to raise my heart rate. Then I go to the weights for my arms and legs for 20 minutes then I focus on my abs for about 80 sit ups. Last I stretch on the mats and that's it. My favorite part is the treadmill because I watch funny youtube videos on my phone and I forget I'm even working out. One time I was on the treadmill for an hour and didn't know it, my legs did though.

It does depend a lot on what you want to get out of it. If you want to get stronger, lose weight etc. If you're there to burn calories you might want to do a bit of cardio (treadmill, bike). 15 minutes on each of those sounds fine.
Talk to the staff at the gym and see if they could help you set up a personal training routine, so you know exactly what to do and what the best way to do it is. That way you get maximum benefit out of your training time.
When it comes to resistance training with weights and using that type of gym equipment, it's often better to do things slowly and surely. There are lots of people just going to the gym and ripping through every machine as fast as possible. That works too but it's not nearly as efficient as doing it "right", which is with the right resistance and working the whole muscle, and holding for a few seconds between each rep. So it's not that much about the time you spend on it, but how many sets and reps you do, and doing them right.
You'll spend the time anyway, so you might as well ask for help to get the most out of it.
