How to get rid of fleas on rats?
My rats has fleas broght in by my mother's new kittens. How can I remove them? On one of my rats its kinda easy, he's white and I can see them, but my other is mostly black and I rarely see them and when I move through his hair he gets really angry at me. Should I bathe them?
My parents want to spray my room with some house spray they bought but I have no idea if my rats will be safe. Its made by Hartz and I don't care for that brand. Will that harm my rats? Even when its dry? They still chew the carpet sometimes.
Thanks in advance

You need to bathe them using a medical grade product specifically for removing fleas on tiny animals. This can be for rodents, or kittens/small bred puppies as well. You can get this from your vet.
DO NOT spray chemical house sprays in the room your rats are in. This is not safe to spray around animals in general, rats are especially delicate to scents in the air.
