How to get rid of man breasts?

I'm pretty fat. I'm okay with that, really. I've fat in varying degrees for most of my life. But I also have man breasts, which is embarrassing. So I want to know what are the best exorcizes to get rid of man breasts? Do push ups work? Bench press? What?

Also, if there is a way to lessen my man-breasts in, say, a month, month and a half... that's be SUPER awesome, cuz there's a thanks giving party in October (I'm in Canada) and there's this girl I like going to be there, and I think she might be slightly interested. (Obviously, I'm going to be working on dropping some pounds from my stomach too, but the biggest concern for me is the topic of my question.)

Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

If you are in Canada... go see a doctor. Have a physical and have them recommend a dietician and/or fitness consultant. You can then look at gym memberships, community centers, personal trainers, pools, etc.

However, you aren't going to make any serious changes to your body in six weeks. The maximum amount of safe weight loss is around 1-2lbs per week. It can also take a few weeks for start to see any results. Losing 8-10lbs probably won't have much an effect on your body. You can't focus weight loss on specific parts of the body... it will break down fat reserves all over the body with the stomach being one of the last places it will consume fat. Even after a year of weight loss (say 60-70lbs) loose skin won't easily go away.

Again, something you can discuss with a doctor and a dietician/fitness instructor.
