It is ridiculous to call someone who happens to fall in love with a rich person a gold digger.

Its as easy to love a rich person as a poor one, and women today are more secure in their own abilities. Look for someone that shares the same core values as yourself. Rich men have been known to trade to a newer model. So the answer is many still go for security of money.
