What kind of emotion is in these Les Mis songs?
I want to beable to understand the feeling athat will help me sing these songs better. I would like to know the emotions (for example, sadness and betrayal with a hint of builing anger). I also would like to know how I can show eah jndividual emotion in my voice. The songs are :

Castle on a cloud: hope with a bit of sadness
Innkeepers song: not to sure
On my own:loneliness,sadness
In my life: a little anger and thirst for knowledge
Cossete and Marius: pure love for one and other

this is the acting part. YOU need to decide, along with your director or coach, how to interpret sogs.
and dont go for chices like "sadness with a hint of anger"
it isnt a cooking recipe. figure out your character's objectives and whattactics they are using to obtain those objectives and the emotions will come from there.
trying to "show emotion" is the worst type of high school acting.
