Is it okay to hate money with a passion?
I grew up in a wealthy family and have watched how money can completely DESTROY families and relationships. Family members fall in love with money and they use it to hurt other people and they do it with a shallow, superficial image and try to come across as the perfect individuals. They also love to preach on a daily basis how they are strong Christians and speak the word of the bible in half of their conversations. I want to marry someone from a blue collar family and be part of a blue collar family where I can be myself and not worry about going to family gatherings without being judged as well as not to be expected to being a boring, shallow, uptight person. Is this possible

Oh believe me, money is PURE evil. This world runs on the idea that a piece of paper has value. Even in the religious world, God didn't intend for this. He expected humans to live off of their own land and use trade/barter as their economy. Money is what drives people's aspirations, show their true colors, and fuels their ambition to work hard. It's also what causes murder, it's what destroys lives, and it's the prime subject of arguments between nations and our own civil governments. It is evil itself, but the world does not work without it. I'm glad you can see through the ruse and see money for how it is, like 99% of the world can't.

it's possible. I can understand how you feel about money, shallow, superficial and hypocrisy. You don't have to marry someone from blue collar family. Marry someone who is educated and from middle class or lower middle class is a good start. Good luck.

It's foolish
Hating money is for rich children, you would not hate money if you did not have any.
.
One of the best things about having money is that you have the freedom to do what you want to do .
I don't see how money can destroy a family....... the lack of it can.
How does your family hurt people by having money. All the stuff they buy keeps people in business and gives many people jobs.
You will find out how hard life can be if you have to work in a factory doing the same thing your whole life. You are very lucky to have a rich family, take advantage of it wisely. :-)
About hating to be judged , everybody gets judged, you just have to ignore it.
