Anime with cliffhanger endings? Do they usually get another season/sequel to continue on?

that actually depends on how popular the series was, but sometimes certain popular anime don't get sequels because of other problems such as the creator not wanting to continue or not having enough funding, etc; though sometimes, cliffhangers were what they were meant to end with

basically saying, not all cliffhangers get a sequel and some were meant to end like that

I don't understand why the Animes end with Cliffhangers while the Mangas end the series, there's probably several different reasons as to why it happens and it's frustrating since 90% of the time there's differences between the manga & anime versions but they do continue at some point for example...Inuyasha last year came out with Inuyasha: The Final Act. So it's just a matter of if or when it happens

A lot of anime's end with cliff hangers and don't usually get another season. Examples of these are :

Vampire Knight

Shugo Chara (the third season honestly had like nothing to do with the whole series)

Ouran High school host club

Teen Titans (if you count that as an anime)

unfortunately only the most popular anime get a 2nd season :/

that why a lot of anime dont finish on cliffhangers

I really wonna see a 2nd season of Btooom and HSTD but they need more manga
