Is this charger / power lead compatible with a regular macbook?

This is the charger that I want to buy as it's cheaper than the other ones I've looked at:

However it says it's for a Macbook Air. I just have a normal macbook (not a macbook pro, the one before that). Would this cable work for me?

    It depends, if your original Macbook charger has the same or lower than the one you are buy then it is compatible, if the original charger has more wattage than the replacement then it will not be compatible.
