Yes. The product key you have is Yours and you can re use it as many times as you would like. You can use it on multiple computers if you would like as well. I did that with my Win7, it was on my old Desktop, my moms laptop and my laptop at the same time with the same key.

Yes. The key component that Microsoft is worried about is the motherboard. That is what they see as the computer. Make sure you have 100% of your drivers ready to load especially your ethernet/wireless/usb.
You are welcome to swap hard drives because you are leaving the main body of the computer in place. Swapping out motherboards would necessitate purchase of a Windows OEM product or one of their retail offerings. The OEM product? it's only good with one motherboard and that can't be swapped. Their VERY expensive, but worth it, retail offering lift that restriction. You just deactivate the old board's activation and activate the new motherboard after the OS is loaded and all that. Thast only works with a retail Win OS disk. I am not talking about a retail computer.
Are you coming over to the darkside? I see apple and you are asking about windows. For once someone with an open mind.

hi jimmy, sounds like you know what your doing so place the disk in the burner and reboot when you see your windows logo start taping f12 boot from usb cdrom or just cdrom now answer your questions like name and password. when they ask for your product key place it in the box then you will come to your partitions hit advanced then there you will see two partition highlight them and hit delete you may get a message that you may be removing drivers that you may need ignore it. it will say unallocated space delete all of them. then just hit next and let your windows install when your done installing your windows then remove it from the dvd burner and install your rescource disk ot tune up disk and what we want to do is install them one at a time. this is a little time consuming but it pays so if you installed a driver and it ask you to reboot remove the disk and reboot but remember where you were last. good luck I hope I was helpful to you
Source(s): now when all of the drivers are installed then remove the disk and go online and exit then go to control panel there hit updates install all of the updates. now exit and right click a barespace on your desktop hit personalize now install all of your icons and hit apply. now exit and right click on my computer and hit properties scroll down the page you will see you have three days to register your windows double click it and register online. now tweak your computer the way you want it. take care :) - Anonymous8 years ago
