Drop Leg Holster For Revolver?

Does anyone know of a good drop leg style holster for a Dan Wesson 357 revolver (6" barrel and the frame is nearly the same size as Ruger and S&W). I carry it when I'm in the woods but the traditional cowboy style holsters all put the gun up too high for my tastes. I want it down on my leg and out of the way, especially when I'm bow hunting.

Update:

Some additional bow hunting information for the cross draw advocates. I have to carry a bow and since I hunt national forest land I have to carry my stand in and out. I have that strapped to me along with a backpack for other stuff like rattling antlers, drag rope, knife, flash light, etc. Then when I'm in the stand I have a harness. I've tried a cross draw holster and it really gets in the way.

it is not easy to find a good drop leg, they are not often used so the market is limited

for that one I mostly have only seen your basic nylon holster in dropleg such as the uncle mikes

I can see the drop leg style for your use, at first i though this was going to be someone trying to be taticool but I think for your use it will work well, just get the straps adjusted well

You've never carried in a "drop leg" have you?

That's the most clang, bang, snag on every thing place to carry

I'd be looking for a shoulder holster ... Simply Rugged makes what your looking for.

BTW... Cross draw on the belt is probably the best way to carry a big revolver in the woods .

I like the cross-draw too, but wouldn't it be more in the way for bow? I would think putting it farther back on the right hip would be more out of the way. The shoulder carry is interesting. I've always preferred this for the heaviest pistols, a right-shoulder carry? Never tried one there, but it may be out of the way and best for bow. I'm not sure of it being out of the way for a bow shot. A low carry would be my last choice, bouncing, running?

I am not comfortable with my Glock on my right hip either. It seems that my elbow has to go too far back to draw. I use the cross draw also and it's a lot better. Much more comfortable.

Have you tried cross draw? I have the same gun and carry it cross draw. It works great riding in vehicles and the ergonomics of cross drawing pretty much has your arm fully extended when you draw.
