Try to find out what causes her to feel this way. Give her praise whenever possible. Do things together and be sure she gets to make a lot of the decisions. Cook together. Everyone needs to know how to prepare meals. Find out something she likes and do that. Remember praise her and thank her a lot.
Good luck and God bless. Make sure that church is in your lives.

teach them one of your skills or talents. kids idolize their parents, and naturally want to take after them. so if you have some particular skill, like photoshop, karate, piano, fixing cars, whatever. teach them how to do it slowly and patiently. they will thank you the rest of their lives for that because those kind of skills are a source of pride and self confidence.
