Bodmas?This is a very simple question which i get two answers too. Its just what does 3 + -7 -14 +5=?
I get -13 doing it one way and -23 another way. Im pretty sure -13 is correct but is it? And can you explain how you got there? Thanks

It is -13.
Remember to put ( ) around a + and then a - to avoid confusion.
3 + (-7) is -4, and then the rest is easy:
3 + (-7) - 14 + 5
= 3 - 7 - 14 + 5
= -4 - 14 + 5
= -18 + 5
= -13....
Maybe you were mistaking this:
3 + (-7) - 15 - 5
= -4 - 15 - 5
= -23.

Yes answer is -13
