Help with building muscle?

So Ive been working out, trying to put on some more muscle, and I haven't really made any progress at all. I know the protein powder helps and you can make protein shakes, but does anyone else have any suggestions to help? thanks!

Do a 30 day challenge. I just finished one and it really helped, it was tough though. there are all sorts of challenges, just choose what you want to focus on (such as abdominals) and type '30 day ab challenge' or something similar into your search engine and find the one you want. I recommend avoiding the shakes because they can make you gain fat if you don't exercise enough

7 days a week, do stretching and aerobics.

1 day a week; lift weights.

Lift and HOLD for 1 minute.

Increase what you lift by 1 pound per week.

Rest is when you build muscles, not during the workout.

It could be your genes, there is myostatin produced which restricts muscle growth when its limit is reached, you cant build muscle, most bodybuilders naturally have low myostatin (already proven search it up)
