Using "damn" in a fictional story?

For English Class (high school), I have to write a suspense story, so I was then influenced by the show supernatural. Later in my story, I added these sentences:

“Hurry, get the bag of salt from my backpack,” Zach demanded. “Salt? How is salt going to help?”, Daniel asked. “Just shut up and get the damned salt will you?! This is no time to question our methods!”, Johnny barked.

Is this okay to put? Will the teacher get upset?

Many professional authors use slang and even vulgar words in their novels, however, your high school teacher may not allow it. It's best just to use asterisks (*).

Just shut up and get the d*** salt will you?!

'Damned' is a very mild oath and it is very appropriate to the sentence. It shows Zach's frustration, urgency, and anxiety. I don't think your teacher will mark against you for it.
