Do you think Americans are afraid to disagree with Obama in fear of being labeled a racist?

    Yes.

If you attack or complain about the community organizer they call you a racist.

Just like when you say something negative about gays they call you a homophobe.

Of course not. I disagree with him myself on a few things.

I have never heard a liberal or Democrat say that -all- criticism of Obama is racist. I hear this from Republicans all the time!

The Republican strategy is to make Obama's color a major issue, they've tried to do that since before he was even nominated. They insist, for instance, that the only reason Obama is president is because all the black people voted for him, only because he was black. But if the truth were known, there were probably a lot more people who voted -against- him just because of his color.

There certainly -is- some racism in the Republican opposition to Obama. But we all know they'd hate him just as strongly if he was white. They hated Clinton the same way, and he was white! The real reason for their hatred of Obama has to do with him keeping them out of the White House for 8 years.

It is rather odd that conservatives are the only ones who can see past the color of his skin and instead are able to see all too well the content of his character... or lack thereof. Liberals and too many undecideds in the middle, unfortunately, see the person but refuse to acknowledge what he is, in most cases not because they're afraid of anyone else labeling them as a racist, but instead as proof to themselves that they're not racist (many black people are exceptions and support him unthinkingly, in the same way they rejoiced in the wake of the first O.J. Simpson verdict in spite of him being clearly and undoubtedly guilty). Obama and his advisors understand this and have been playing to those involuntary impulses and taking advantage of them (mostly to compensate for his incredible lack of substance) ever since he began his political career.

No, people love disagreeing with Obama, whether they are racist or not. And yea, some disagree merely because they are racist. Not saying all are, but some, yes.

Some might be, but that's an ignorant position. If I disagree with a woman, am I a sexist? If I disagree with a Jew, am I anti-Semetic?

I don't give a sh@t what some Liberal 'labels' me, I know who I am and I know what a failure Obama is also.
