If man-made global warming is so bad, why is the polar ice cap getting so much bigger?
Man-made global warming is so terrible that the polar ice cap is growing larger than it's been since we've been able to measure it in the 1950's. In 2007, we were told that summer ice will all be melted by 2013, but those darn satellite photos show it's the largest in recorded history, for this time of year.
Is record ice in the North Pole certain proof that we are responsible for global warming that can only be stopped by paying unrepresented carbon taxes to foreign bankers, to keep us safe?

Because global warming is a liberal hoax to tax Americans. The Earth has been going through heating and cooling cycles naturally since the beginning of time.

The 'polar' cap isn't a single piece of ice. At it's edges it breaks into floes, growlers, bergs and bergy bits. While some very thin ice may form between these floating bits and pieces it's not actual 'ice pack as it's seasonal, temporary, not continuous and tends to break up with ocean currents and winds.
As the ice thins, and this is the actual case along it's outer edges, these broken pieces drift south away from the main ice pack. That being the case the total extent of sea ice can actually cover a lot of ocean real estate. According to the US Navy until you get very close to the pole itself the ice thickness is considerably thinner then it was when the first US nuclear sub surfaced from under the ice. The Russian navy reports the same situation. Because Russia has Artic ocean ports they also run the largest fleet of ice breakers in the world. They've been reporting thinner ice for decades. More:
There is a ratio in the artic between 'old ice' and new ice. Old ice can be hundreds or even thousands of years old; new ice is what forms year to year in the winter season. Every year there seems to be less 'old ice' in the ratio as it melts mostly from below. Ice core samples prove this to be the case. In the artic summers tend to be slight longer, and winters slightly shorter... Therefore new ice rarely has the time to become 'old ice'.... that's what the data shows. Also, the rate of shoreline erosion all along the reaches of the Artic ocean has increased and continues to increase due to wave action... action that because of what was year 'round solid ice no longer is year 'round or solid. That's the data collected by the various navies and commercial shippers in the artic. Them is the 'facts'... believe it or not!

Satellite measurements SINCE 2007, show that the polar ice caps have GROWN 409,000 SQUARE MILES. This is a 26% increase. Maybe, we can use those global warming reports to heat up our houses this winter.

Only the BBC reported that.
HOWEVER -
Only six years ago, the BBC reported that the Arctic would be ice-free in summer by 2013

-It's not . The Polar Ice Cap used to be Hundreds of feet Thick. Now most of it is just a few Inches (where there is any left- at All ). Global Warming continues to Accelerate. And We're ALL going to End up Paying for That Reality- from Here on out... :(

I have not seen that. I saw a bunch of articles showing how it is smaller and in fact the north pole was a lake in one recent article. You may want to double check your info.

Thanks to rising average global temperatures, the North Pole is once again home to a lake in the middle of the Arctic ice cap. Just a month ago, the exact same spot was ice.

Now you must not depend on such images. Please believe what the neo-Marxist eco-bigots claim. They are trying to protect you from the ravages of "greedy capitalists" including but not only from the "climate change" those selfish capitalists create.
Source(s): For decades I studied philosophies, cultures, and social institutions. I began that because of confusion resulting from my military experience under the shadow of neo-Marxist anti-military and anti-capitalism indoctrination in the universities. I continue a forty year quest wading through the huge pile of stinking crap a wide variety of bigots dumped on top of truth hiding it from nearly everyone's view. The pile was made by blaming people or practices they don't like while excusing people or practices they do like regardless of where the fault really lies.
