What to wear to a wedding?

So I'm 13, and I'm going to this wedding TODAY! I know it's last minute but I don't know what to wear. I don't know the person that's getting married that well; we're not family. But she is a really great person and invited me so I'm going. But I realized I don't know what to wear. I don't want links to websites. I just want like a description of something that's appropriate for a wedding.

    Geez, yeah, last minute!

A nice dress, nothing black, white or screaming red.

Nothing very short or with cutouts (I know this probably means nothing for your age group...)

Don't wear pants - wear a dress, or a nice top and skirt.

It's a family occasion, a religious occasion and a party, so keep all that in mind.

You want to dress respectfully, and not upstage the bride with anything too fluffy.

Plain and neat - that's the thing, like you're going out for a nice dinner with your grandmother to a fancy restaurant - hope that sort of helps. It's hard to say, without knowing sort of what you have.

If you can ask your mom or an aunt to have a look, that's what I would do.

Well an appropriate thing to wear to a wedding is a pretty dress, it doesn't have to be completely formal but just something nice. if you don't have a dress then wear a nice shirt and a skirt or something like that would look nice. you don't have to dress as well as the bride or groom but do something nice with your hair maybe.

A dress or a skirt and a cute top. If she just asked you and didn't send out invitations, it's probably a pretty casual affair, but I would still say don't wear denim.

A wedding is usually formal. If you're not apart of the wedding, then anything decent will do.

A dress, not to flattering works well. Hair nice and neat.

If you're not a dress person, a nice pair of slacks with a button shirt or blouse will do. It is not so much what to wear as it is how to wear it. Iron the clothes and make sure they're free of holes and marks

    I. E. don't go wearing a rock back tanker and those favorite pair of jeans with the holes in them.

A nice dress, not too short. Don't wear white. That's off limits. Wear a nice fall color like burnt sienna.
