Is this a cute wedding ring idea for my fiancee?

He is in the army,

my idea is to get him a gold wedding band and engrave the inside of it,

inside the ring would say;

"My Soldier" and maybe the date that we got together?

Whats your opinion? Thank you haha

    The date should be your wedding date, but otherwise it sounds perfect.

    That sounds like a beautiful, highly meaningful gesture that I'm sure he'll cherish forever! I do agree that it would be more appropriate to have your wedding date engraved on the inside of the ring rather than the day you met, but both ideas are wonderful. Keep in mind to keep your message somewhat short however, jewelers only have so much room to engrave a message! ;)

    If you're stuck for men's wedding bands, check out Adiamor.com. They've got a really fantastic selection and classic and modern styles that I think you both will love, and they specialize in custom design, too so you're guaranteed to get a ring that he'll enjoy wearing forever. Engraving is a flat rate $25.00, which is a great deal for such detailed work! Good luck and congratulations on your engagement!

    Yes, if that's what you call him. No, if that's just something you made up to engrave in a ring. Also, engrave your wedding date, not the date that you met.

    I actually really like that idea. It's personal and meaningful to you.

    My fiance and I are going to do "matching" heart rings. I think that idea might work for you, too :)
