What do you think of this unusual name for a boy?
Cadel
It's a Welsh name. Pronunciation is like the word cadet with an L, so ka-DELL.
There's a cyclist with this name (Cadel Evans).
Thanks :]

Hey. You answer my question about having a baby young, so just thought I'd return the favor.
Anyways, Cadel's actually really cute. Never heard of it before. I was going to say "It sounds like Cadet!" then I read the rest and thought I'd sound dumb for saying that lol. It's really unique. Cadel Ryan or Cadel Tyler would be really cool.

I think that if you're born in Wales or have an ancestor named 'Cadel', then calling your kid 'Cadel' seems like a fine choice. If you're not born in Wales and have no ancestor with that name, calling a kid 'Cadel' is being a poseur.

As you said that there's a cyclist with the name Cadel then this name is not unusual for a boy.
