Is composted leaf mulch a good option? Any probs associated w/this ?

Pests diseases etc...?

    Mice like to nest in mulch, also groundhogs . Traps will cure them of that . Otherwise just add some lime in order to aid decomposition.

    Composting your mulched leaves is an excellent idea. The best result comes with a mix greens and browns. Your leaves are brown. Add some grass clipping to your leaves and turn periodically. Equal portions greens and browns. You can also add raw, unseasoned vegetable and fruit scraps, egg shells and coffee grounds. No cooked foods or meat products.

    Compost is a wonderful addition to gardens and flower beds. I also use it in my potted plants. It also keeps you from having to bag and dispose of your leaves.
