I don't really see how this has anything to do with religion. It's a free speech issue (if anything). If the judge's ruling was based on religion, which it sounds like it was, then obviously, he cannot disallow a name on religious grounds (since that would appear to be making laws based on religious belief--which is strictly forbidden by the constitution).

Has nothing to do with God. It does have to do with conservative hypocrisy. At least the initial ruling did. They love to pizz and moan about getting government off of our backs, then a conservative judge is going to have the audacity to tell parents what they can name their children? Big disconnect between what the preach and what they practice. I'm glad this azzhole got overruled.

It has nothing to do with your "God." The first judge was a Christard bigot, acted like a Christard bigot, and got the public humiliation that was deserved. That judge's blatantly wrong ruling was reversed, as it should have been.
