Catholics. What male Saint is similar to St. Elizabeth Seton?
I just started going to RCIA a few days ago and read about Saint Elizabeth Seton. I feel very much drawn to her. I was wondering if there was a male that was canonized as a saint that is similar to her and her mission. Thanks :)

Well she seems to be the patron saint of Catholic schools, so maybe St Thomas Aquinas? Although he seems a bit more academic. Good luck on your RCIA!

She was a woman of prayer and service who embraced the apostolic spirituality of Louise de Marillac and Vincent de Paul. It had been her original intention to join the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, but the embargo of France due to the Napoleonic Wars prevented this connection.
